Taken from his number one album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ came Stomzy’s brilliant new single, ‘Cigarettes & Cush’, featuring the brilliantly-talented Kehlani. Now, the music video for the track has been revealed, which you can check out below:
The film comes as Stormzy also announces the vinyl release of his album, available for pre-order now.
Starring the MC and Andrea Ali in the lead roles, the video serves as a mini movie where Stormzy is a dealer who strikes up a relationship with Ali’s police-serving character. Both unaware of each other’s actual life’s work, a dramatic conclusion allows the story to reach its peak.
In the coming weeks, Stormzy will perform at the 2017 Hyundai Mercury Prize, where he’s also nominated to take home the award, amongst the likes of Ed Sheeran, Alt-J, the XX and The Big Moon.
