Christina Aguilera's Halloween was a money-spinning one - the pop star earned a reported $1 million (£670,000) for a performance at a private party.

The Beautiful singer scrapped plans to go trick or treating and instead belted out her hits at investment banker Charles Brandes' Saturday night spook-tacular in San Diego, California.

Christina Aguilera was onstage for an hour and super rich Brandes also paid for his special guest's hair, make-up and travel costs.
