A reality show about Michael Jackon’s brothers is set to air on U.S. TV next month.

Earlier this year U.S. network A&E filmed Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy Jackson recording a new album for a documentary that was scheduled to be aired in 2010.

The brothers planned to recruit their superstar sibling to film a reunion performance for the one-hour pilot but they didn't manage to persuade him to participate before his untimely death in June.

But producers are going forward with the show, which will air in September, and reportedly plan to include a reference to Michael's death at the end of the programme.

Danny O'Donovan, who managed the Jackson brothers since they left Motown in the late 1970s, negotiated the deal with A&E bosses, who hope to air the footage as a series in half-hour or hour-long sessions.
