Soul singer Robin Thicke is expecting his first baby with his actress wife Paula Patton.
The couple announced Patton is pregnant with a baby boy expected in October - four years after the pair wed.
Thicke, 32, confirmed the baby's sex to Essence.com.
And the singer admits he's already thinking about the life lessons he'll teach his first son: "Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we'll experience that together. That's the beauty of having a child."
Thicke recently revealed he and Patton had decided to name their child "Julian if it's a boy, and Isabella if it's a girl".
