Raphaella - Idiot EP

Raphaella - Idiot EP

April Fool's Day is a day for practical jokes and light-hearted pranks, preying on the gullible, along with those trusting and perhaps idealistic people that like to see the good in everyone and just don't want to believe that anyone could possibly lie to them.

This year, rather appropriately it is also the release date of emerging star Raphaella's debut EP 'Idiot'.

On first glance, Raphaella comes across as your typical girls' girl, but it's when she is performing that she really comes into her own. Either sitting alone behind a piano or fronting a live band, Raphaella's voice is her secret weapon.

Beautiful, captivating and unigue, it cuts through the noise of everyday life to speak straight from the heart. She wears her heart on her sleeve, so Raphaella's debut 5 track EP is certainly an education in the complex emotions involved in the highs of flying and the lows of falling in love.

Raphaella is a 22 year old Persian/English girl from North London who has been honing her craft since the age of 4. Classically trained in piano and violin.

She came away with a 1st class honours music degree from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, too. She is releasing her music independently and is currently spending her time in the studio writing after signing a publishing deal last year with Phrased Differently.

Forging her identity as a successful independent artist and songwriter, writing with internationally multi-platinum selling writers and producers, she's come a long way from her earliest memories of listening to Peggy Lee records at her late Grandad's home in Dorset and humming along to Hello Dolly and Sesame Street, a very long way.
