Dizzee Rascal - By Rankin

Dizze Rascal has proven he isn’t ‘too cool’ for the East End after blagging his way into the script of his favourite soap opera.

The rapper, whose real name is Dylan Mills has mentioned that said the long-running soap, which started in 1985 - the same year he was born - "means a lot" to him and as a result, he has been told by the BBC that he is welcome to have a cameo role on Eastenders.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper, he said: "I could see myself on EastEnders one day. They just need to offer me a role and I'm there."

A spokeswoman for the BBC said it was "great to hear Dizzee is such a big fan" and that he would be "very welcome to swing by the Queen Vic if he's ever in Walford".
