Eminem revisits the homes from his tough childhood whenever he needs inspiration for his rhymes - and reveals the unplanned trips help to remind him how fortunate he is.
The Stan rapper often leaves the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, where he now lives and drives around the neighbourhoods where he grew up, checking out the changes to the homes where he once lived.
He said; "It may sound corny, but I'll go by and try to remember how things were when I was in those houses.
"I'll go back and remember... how life was back then. How much of a struggle it was. As time goes by, you might get content and forget things."
