850,000 album sales later, urban super-group N-Dubz return with a brand new single ‘We Dance On’, featuring legendary dance DJs BodyRox. Written and produced by the band themselves, along with Bodyrox, the song is the first single to be taken from the soundtrack to new Brit-flick and dance spectacular ‘StreetDance 3D.’

‘We Dance On’ champions the art of resiliance, using dancing as a metaphor for working through the trials and tribulations of everyday-life. Using a sample of the famous ‘Cannon in D Major’ by Johann Pachelbel, the song perfectly captures the euphoria of the film it soundtracks and is set to become the band’s 11th hit single.

In addition to ‘We Dance On’, the ‘StreetDance 3D’ soundtrack, released on May 24th (digital release precedes on May 10th) also features a brand new track by British pop siren Pixie Lott, as well as the massive Cheryl Cole hit ‘Fight For This Love’ remixed by Crazy Cousins, Madcon’s ‘Beggin’ and the number one smash ‘Pass Out’ by Tinie Tempah. Elsewhere, new urban four piece LightBulbThieves, who are poised to make waves with their own album later this year, make their debut with the ‘The Sugar Plum Fairy’ sampling ‘Work It Out (Sugabitch)’ while Sugababes appear with their number one ‘Get Sexy.’

Over the last three years, N-Dubz have had an unprecedented impact on modern British youth culture. Selling over three quarters of a million albums, completing three critically acclaimed sell out tours, picking up three MOBO awards and scoring a No.1 single along the way. An incredibly special group, N-Dubz have proven, once again, that nothing can hold them back. The success of their second platinum album ‘Against All Odds’ and the demand for their third UK Tour proves they will persevere and succeed. As Dappy says, “There has been a lot of up’s and down’s, a lot of tears yet here we are, years down the line, fulfilling the dream. More than fulfilling the dream.”

Ivor Novello nominees Jon Pearn and Nick Bridges, aka BodyRox are two of the most talented and in-demand producers in the UK. Having both enjoyed huge success as solo producers and through previous partnerships, it is now as Bodyrox where the pair are enjoying new-found success. Most memorably they produced one of the “biggest hits in electronic dance music” (Pete Tong) in the form of ‘Yeah Yeah’; a massive electro workout which debuted at no.2 in the UK Top 40 and remained in the Top 10 for several weeks. Recently tagged a ‘Supergroup’ by Pete Tong during their debut on Radio One’s Essential Mix, Bodyrox are currently one of the top three most viewed ‘electro bands’ in the world with over one and a half million views on Myspace alone

Set in and around London, the film ‘StreetDance 3D’ (in cinemas on May 21st) sees an urban dance crew forced to work alongside a company of ballet dancers in order to win the Street Dance Championship. With no common ground and with passions riding high, they realise they must join forces to win. Staring both Britain’s Got Talent dance winners George Sampson and Diversity, this spectacular film features startling choreography sure to spark a dance frenzy this summer.
