Wall & Chamillionaire Back Together

Rappers Paul Wall and Chamillionaire ended their war of words publicly on Wednesday night (17Mar10) when they hit the stage together at the opening night of this year's (10) South By Southwest festival in Texas.

The two Texas-born stars grew up together and were firm friends until they both found musical success in the early-2000s.

They even collaborated on 2002's The Color Changin' Click before they fell out.

Wednesday's Austin reunion was the first time the rappers had performed together for seven years.

And Wall admits is was mutual friend Pimp C who brought the two former friends back together.

He explains, "(He said) 'If we’re going to have a movement, a Texas movement for the music, we need to come together and quit fighting amongst ourselves.'"

Wall and Chamillionaire now hope to cement their renewed friendship by announcing a five-week tour.

Referencing their "petty" feud, Wall says, "Sometimes, there’s more than one way to reach the goal. I had my view of what we should do, and he had his view."

Ludacris Stays On Top Of His Taxes

Rapper Ludacris has vowed never to fall foul of America's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) because he always stays on top of his taxes.

Hip-hop stars including Nas, Snoop Dogg and Method Man have all been named and shamed as tax dodgers - but the Stand Up hitmaker, real name Christopher Bridges, insists he has no intention of adding his name to that list.

He tells Fuse TV, "I pay more in taxes than most people would ever imagine. I guarantee you, you will never hear about Ludacris owing the damn IRS no damn money (sic)."

Nas reportedly owes $3.4 million (£2.1 million) in taxes, while Snoop Dogg is alleged to owe almost $600,000 (£375,000).

Method Man failed to file income tax returns for three years from 2004, leading to the Wu-Tang Clan star being arrested and charged with tax evasion in New York last year (09).
