Forever The Sickest Kids

Jonathan and Kent here sitting in a Manchester salon attic here to review some new music for you! The 1st album we will be reviewing will be Peter & The Pix single “Never Never,” so here we go. I am pressing play. Right now.

My first impression of the track is that I am impressed with the Pix. Peter is tagging along nicely too with his vocals following the guitar. I like the singers in the background. The vocals do not seem to stick out over the music. They are blended with the surf-rock-esque music, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing in this case. The song has a lot to offer if you don't mind listening a couple of times to figure out what is exactly going on here. Peter, you have done it again my friend. Pix, you too.

The next track we will be hearing is John Mayer's new single “Heartbreak Warfare.” The guitar is pwning a noob in the beginning. It sounds like a spaceship colliding with a meteoric particle. Great sounding record! I also hear that this song is about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston, so it is cool to get an inside look at what happened with them. We think that John Mayer will go down in history as one of the great singer/songwriters of our generation. He is an even better guitarist and we wish he would show off his skillz more. Great comeback by Mr. Mayer.

The last and final track we will be feasting our ears upon is Jay-Z's track “On To The Next One” featuring Swizz Beatz. This track is off of his new album “The Blueprint 3” which is getting great reviews. Here we go. Listening to it. Love the sampling at the beginning. Jay-Z always seems to have the best beats of any rapper. It doesn't seem like Jay-Z has lost any motivation since his “retirement” and resignation from Def-Jam. Seems like he is at the top of his game. He KILLS IT!! Best rapper alive in our opinion. Hopefully he will make another album and then be “on to the next one.”
