Sara Bareilles is finally bringing her Grammy-nominated album 'The Blessed Unrest' to the UK featuring current single 'Brave'.

Kicking off with that tune which has a piano instrumental sounding very similar to that of Katy Perry's 'Roar' ('Brave' came first), the track is one that's almost similar to Katy's in that it's instantly infectious and uplifting.

It's one of only three tracks produced by Mark Endert - perhaps the best of those on offer here - but that's not to say that 'Chasing The Sun' and 'I Choose You' are terrible tunes.

Teaming up with John O'Mahony to produce the rest of the album herself, Sara offers a collection of songs that ooze experience and charisma.

'Hercules' sounds like something sang by Eurovision winner Loreen (remember Euphoria?), with a passion driven into the vocals and some fantastic production.

No voice manipulation is needed here as her voice effortlessly slides over the ballad 'Manhattan' - peaceful yet powerful with an impact like none other. Her talent is truly undeniable.

When effects are indeed used, they're not overbearing and don't take away from the charm of the song. 'Satelitte Call' is perhaps one of the more experimental tracks where this happens, but it goes in well with the substance of the song.

Devestating at times with the heartache she conveys and magical at others with some of the promise and intrigue of someone with the ability to become a superstar, versatility is shown in small patches, more so with 'Little Black Dress' and 'Eden', but could be pushed a little further.

'I Choose You' is simply sweet but may fail to make that big of an impact on some, whilst the final three tracks that close out the album really make a statement that this is an artist who's able to keep your attention for a full 50 minutes without faltering.

She doesn't need to resort to silly tactics for attention, she's simply a talented musician who's been given the best opportunities possible, and they're so very deserved.

'The Blessed Unrest' is scheduled for UK release on May 26.
