Ivor Game.

Ivor Game.

Hailing from Ashford, Middlesex, Ivor Game starting playing the guitar at the age of ten. Throughout his twenties Ivor played in several bands before settling as a solo artist.

Game has successfully toured Ireland, LA, Nashville and Europe with his acoustic shows. Back Seat Driving is the next song to enchant audiences across the world.

The song is pleasing, a perfect slice of melodic and emotional folk. With poignant lyrics, acoustic guitar and flawless vocals this track is worthy of a few more listens.

From the opening segment this song instantly cups the ear, he reminds me of artists such as Bon Iver and Bob Dylan.

There is something distinctive about Games’ sound, something that is present in the voices of many artists that I admire.

It’s a shame that artists such as Ivor Game will escape under the radar of commercialism and be stuck in the section of obscurity, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

It’s not about the number of singles sold, it’s the music and how it resonates with the fans.

Ivor Game is a delightful find, an artist that will stand out for all of the right reasons.

Back Seat Driving is available on Itunes, Amazon and the Ivor Game website now.
