Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson will release the follow-up to hit single ‘Spotlight’ on 23rd February 2009 with the single ‘If This Isn’t Love’ from her self-titled debut album, released back in September.

‘If This Isn’t Love’ is a romantic yet upbeat track with an RnB edge. It begins with a Timbaland style beautifully haunting piano riff before launching into a big chorus where Hudson portrays her impressive vocal talents. It is the perfect follow-up to ‘Spotlight’ and looks set to follow in its success.

Jennifer Hudson’s successful debut album features an all-star team of writers and producers including Timbaland, Robin Thicke, The Underdogs, Diane Warren, Tricky Stewart and more. The album is pop music with an R&B and soul flavour and it achieved great chart success after its release in September.

Jennifer came to the UK earlier this year to support Alicia Keys at her Black Ball for the charity ‘Keep A Child Alive’ which benefits children and families with HIV/AIDs in Africa and India. She performed ‘Spotlight’ and ‘And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going’ from Dreamgirls, the film she won an Academy Award for, and pretty much stole the show with her amazing vocal talent.

In addition to her debut album, Hudson continues with her burgeoning acting career in the much-buzzed about film version of the hit series ‘Sex and the City’ and the recently released ‘film adaptation of Sue Monk Kidd’s best-selling novel ‘The Secret Life of Bees’.
