Clapton & Simon Join Ono Band For One-Off Show

Plastic Ono Band is back after a 40 year drought and Yoko Ono will be joined by Eric Clapton and Paul Simon for the one-off performance.
The trio will be joined by Sonic Youth stars Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, Bette Midler, Ono's son Sean Lennon and others for a one-off show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York on 16 February.
Clapton and bassist Klaus Voorman, who is also confirmed for the upcoming event, were members of the original Plastic Ono Band that featured on the album Live Peace in Toronto 1969 and the Cold Turkey single.
Simon's son Harper, Martha Wainwright, Mark Ronson and the Scissor Sisters will also be a part of the new Plastic Ono Band.
