Lil Wayne Album Released Early To Amazon Customers

 A shipping mishap means that 500 lucky Lil Wayne fans have received the rapper’s new rock album almost two months before its release.

After countless delays, Rebirth will officially hit stores and the Internet on 1 February - but a few hundred copies were sent to Amazon customers who pre-ordered the album.

The online merchant sent copies of the album to some customers on its previous release date - 15 December.

An Amazon spokesman didn't respond to an e-mail request for a comment.

The album was initially supposed to be released on 7 April.
