Lostprophets Heading Back To School

A school in Lostprophets home-town will receive a one-off concert from the Welsh super-stars.

The musicians all hail from Pontypridd in south Wales, and frontman Ian Watkins met his future bandmate Mike Lewis when they studied at the town's Hawthorn Secondary together.

And now they are going back to their old school - the band has scheduled a charity concert at the educational institution to benefit the Valleys Homecoming campaign, which aims to promote the arts in Wales.

The invite-only gig will take place on 18 January ahead of their upcoming U.K. tour which kicks off in Leicester, England on 4 February.
