Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine looks set to be the next Liam Gallagher after he has hit out at fellow rockers Blessed By A Broken Heart after learning a member of the band racially abused his guitar technician.

Mustaine didn't discover crewmember Willie Gee had been subjected to the slur until after the two bands had performed at the Loud Park Festival in Japan last weekend.

He insists the unnamed band member should count himself lucky he avoided a physical confrontation with Mustaine.

Mustaine says, "(Blessed By a Broken Heart's) blond band member came close to getting his a** handed to him for racist comments to and about my tech, Willie Gee - I am glad I didn't hear or I would have another story about bodily harm."
