Slayer star Tom Araya is in mourning following his older sister's cancer death.
Anamaria Araya, 55, died on Monday after a 13-year battle with ovarian cancer and the rock star's niece Andrea is inviting her uncle's fans to join the family in remembering her mother at a memorial service on Thursday.
She says, "I would like to extend an invitation to join my family and I in the celebration of my mom's life. I've found peace in knowing she is resting on a comfortable cloud where she won't feel any more pain and breathing comes without tubes."
The memorial takes place at the Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier, California.
