‘Maniac’ is the first single from frantic pop-punksters ‘Reemer’, taken from their upcoming album, due out in October.

The band, who take their name from a character in Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s film, ‘Baseketball’, have been together for 3 years and already have a legion of fans in the North West, regularly selling out venues across Manchester and the surrounding area, to the extent that a recent gig at ‘Sonic Boom’ was oversold by more than 200 tickets resulting in a stage invasion during which the crowd kidnapped the bassist!

The single perfectly showcases the harmonised pop-punk vocals, bouncing guitars and huge choruses that have already won them fans across the North West and throughout the industry.

The band have been featured on Hollyoaks and the video for ‘Maniac’ features Leah Hackett, who plays Tina in the program and was directed by Jamie Catto of Faithless and ‘One Giant Leap’..

The boys have also been asked to cont contribute a track to the Mighty Boosh podcast and with an extensive summer tour schedule including appearances at Wakestock and London’s Hard Rock Cafe, they will surely soon be everywhere.

The single and forthcoming album are released on ‘Reaction Records’ and are produced by Andy Macpherson and Chris Kimsey, who have worked with The Rolling Stones, Blondie, The Cult, The Who and New Model Army amongst many others.

The B Side ‘Summer Sun’ shows a more melodic side to the band but also demonstrates a f frenetic urgency and a return to classic songwriting that shows the band’s depth.
