Keep the kids entertained

We all know children enjoy running around, playing games and keeping us parents busy. When the summer holidays arrive we like to make sure that we keep them entertained but we all know that doesn’t last for too long. So why not take a look at adventure camps which offer a jam-packed timetable full of activities, which are sure to keep them busy and hopefully tire them out when it’s time to come home.

 

Lifebeat adventure camp

Lifebeat adventure camp is a UK charity and was established in 2009.They pride themselves on offering programmes which are arts-based, inter-generational and multi-cultural. They work in partnership with schools and youth organisations to co-host camps, train staff and create opportunities for the youth they serve. Also they work with corporate partners to offer team-building workshops, volunteering and events which are designed by the members of the camp.

The camp is suitable for ages between 14-18 years and the camps are based at Stanford Hall and are available on the 26 July-2 August 2013 and the 13-20 August 2013.

They offer a unique programme of arts-based activities and a daily choice of workshops including music-making, discussion and debate, lyric-writing and poetry, storytelling and dance to name but a few.

 

PGL

The adventure camp offers outdoor education and adventures to remember. It was established back in 1957 and still provides games and challenges to keep your children entertained. It is suitable for 7-17 year olds and they prefer to separate all the ages up so that the same age group are together as this will allow for appropriate activities to take place.

The activities that the camp offers are abseiling, football, swimming, the zip wire plus many more fun activities.

The camp is situated all over the UK with cities such as Lancashire, Devon, Shropshire and Dorset

PGL has also been awarded the ‘Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge’ and provide primary schools and high schools with a planned schedule filled with entertainment.

 

Camp Beaumont

The camp offers a range of day and full week activity packs to ensure that your children have the best time at the camp. ‘Multi-activity’ offers a different variety of activities depending on the age-group and camp that your child is situated in.

The activities range from basketball, climbing, field games and swimming. The camp even provides activities at night if you are looking for your children to stay overnight at the camp. These include bingo, dance mats, disco’s the list is endless.

The camps are situated in different areas such as Colomendy Valley, Dearne Valley, Dukehouse wood, Grosvenor hall, Pinewood sands, The House! and The Island.

The camp is suitable for 7-17 year olds and offers a range of activities that are suitable for that category.
