If you haven’t taken your little one to see Santa yet- a Santa Express is an excellent alternative to the traditional shopping centre variety. Here’s why we think so…

Christmas on Female First

Christmas on Female First

It’s a day out for the whole family: You can book tickets for parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles and make a day out of it. Stop off for breakfast before you get on and take in lunch or dinner afterwards and you have a fun filled day for everyone. Even better if someone in the family is a train enthusiast!

It’s helping your little one to make memories: They are going to remember the experience of going on Santa’s train for the rest of their lives because it will stand out from the rest. Plus, you will all remember different parts of the day so you can talk about it for years to come.

Photo opportunities: On the station, on the train, with Santa, with the elves, with Rudolph, eating mince pies and the view outside of your carriage will all fit snugly in your Christmas album. You are bound to come away with plenty of digital memories of your day.

The presents: What’s better than getting presents from Santa? Getting them from Santa on a train! I think most kids would agree that this makes it all the more amazing!

The snacks: Although small children might not be able to enjoy the mine pies and definitely not the sherry- but the grown ups certainly will! Most Santa Express services will allow snacks for the little ones so you could keep with the festive theme and take them Christmassy cakes or cookies.

It’s paves the way for Christmas: If your child is so excited for Christmas, they are struggling to keep all the excitement in- this will help them to release some of the joy that they have been saving for Christmas Day.

It’s important to support your local community: A lot of the services are run by volunteers, who give it their all. So, if they are willing to put in the time and effort, you should be willing to invest in your area and the people in it so you can keep going year after year.
