Cheryl Cole is in awe of Britain's Duchess of Cambridge.
The pop princess was impressed by the 31-year-old's courage when tasked with facing the world's media on Tuesday evening (23.07.13) to unveil her newborn baby to the world, just one day after giving birth.
She wrote on Twitter: "Can you imagine, having just given birth yesterday you then have to step out to the worlds media and public ! #wow."
The former Girls Aloud singer was waiting for Prince William and Catherine to emerge from the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London along with the rest of the world and couldn't contain her nerves.
Cheryl - who is a big fan of the royal family and has met both Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth - was mostly looking forward to seeing her style rival Catherine and her outfit choice for the occasion.
She posted a series of tweets reading: "I have anxiety lol #RoyalBaby / She looks amazing! Glowing / ... and breathe."
The singer is famed for being wary of the paparazzi and the press, and took the opportunity to reflect on the incredible amount of attention the royal baby and future king was getting.
Cheryl added: "And that little boy has no idea what his existence already means to so many people.
"The irony of it is I am so excited to see him but also wish them their privacy and no pressure at this special time #contradiction".
