Britain's Prince Harry partied with Mumford & Sons until 1am on Sunday morning (07.07.13).
The flame-haired royal and girlfriend Cressida Bonas met the group following their Saturday night (06.07.13) gig at London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where frontman Marcus Mumford invited the couple backstage for free drinks with him and his actress wife Carey Mulligan.
A source said: "Harry is a huge Mumford fan, as is Cressida. He was gutted to miss them at Glastonbury.
"He absolutely bear-hugged Marcus and apologised for missing their set. Marcus told him not to worry and to help himself to the beer. Carey was also introduced to them all. Cressida really admires Carey, too, so the girls chatted while Harry had a long talk with Marcus. They really
hit it off."
Harry also got on well with Marcus' bandmate Ted Dwane - who was rushed to hospital on June 10 to have a blood clot removed from his brain - and the prince was said to be shocked to see the bassist back in the band so soon after he went under the knife.
A source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Harry was really impressed that Ted had rejoined the band so quickly. The boys joked, 'Ted's alive!' "
