Prince Harry is reportedly determined to have a refresher course on flying as he is keen to return to his pilot role after stepping down earlier this year.

Prince Harry served for over three years in the Army Air Corps and stepped down earlier this year for a Staff Officer role in London, but it is believed the hunk is now determined to start flying again next year.

A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Harry is going back to flying next year and will spend four to six months on a refresher course.

"He may not necessarily go back to Apaches. A decision will be made closer to the time."

Harry also previously told friends he would "have loved to have had a crack at SAS selection", but knew his dream job serving with the Special Air Service forces would never work out due to his status.

He reportedly told one pal: "Unfortunately for me that [the SAS] was never going to happen - my face is just too well known."

The prince, who turns 30 next week, has been fascinated by the SAS since visiting the regiment as a child with his late mother Princess Diana, and still makes regular trips to their base in Hereford.

Meanwhile, Harry is currently busy preparing for the Invictus Games, which will kick off in London on Wednesday (10.09.14) and see wounded, sick and injured former service men and women compete against one another.
