Princess Anne in the Fred Winter Suite at the Hennessy Gold Cup

Britain's Princess Anne spent a day at the races on Saturday (30.11.13).

The 63-year-old royal - who competed in the 1976 Olympic Games as a member of the British eventing team - attend the 57th Hennessy Gold Cup horse racing meeting at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire, south east England, on Saturday (30.11.13).

Anne presented the main prize, the coveted Hennessy Gold Cup trophy, to trainer Nicky Henderson for winning horse Triolo D'Alene, who was ridden by Barry Geraghty, following the feature race of the day.

The princess wrapped up warm for the occasion in a knee-length red coat, a black furry hat and a pair of boots, and she also wore a gold horse-shaped brooch for the occasion.

Anne watched some of the action unfold from the comfort of the Fred Winter Suite, where she was spotted getting a good look at the horses down below thanks to a pair of binoculars.

Several stars also joined Anne in the Fred Winter Suite including rappers Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32, actress Joan Collins, TV personality Myleene Klass, 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Amanda Holden and musical theatre star Elaine Paige.

Guests were invited to enjoy a wide selection of Hennessy beverages in the suite, including warming Hennessy Hot Toddy's, Hennessy Hot Chocolate, Hennessy Winter Tea Cocktails using Earl Grey and the racegoers favourite: The Hennessy Horse's Neck, made with Fine de Cognac topped up with ginger ale and orange zest.
