Lalia asks :

I’m looking for some great outfits for my engagement photo shoot! My wardrobe right now consists of logo shirts and jean shorts. I’d like to look nice since my guy hasn’t really seen me in very great clothes! I’m looking for dresses, jeans, some fun prints. I’m at uni so my budget isn't great which makes it tricky. My other problem is jeans, I always buy some from low budget places and they tend to rip in the middle. I have huge thighs! :-(

It sounds to me like you could do with a wardrobe overhaul, you need to pick up some wardrobe staple items that will last you a while and go with plenty of different items.

H&M and New Look have some great jeans, they're not super expensive, they're a bargain really, but most importantly, they're off a good quality.

If you're looking on stretching your budget you need to pick items that will work well creating a number of different outfits.

A black dress, a fine knit jumper, a good pair of jeans, a pair of heels and a quality tee.

A little black dress is an essential in every woman's wardrobe, pick a style that you feel comfortable in and enhances your best body parts. It's something you'll wear forever, plus it's a blank canvas so you can make it look different every time you wear it - all you need to do is change up the accessories and try a different hairstyle.

If you're worried about large thighs then a pair of bootcut jeans are going to be the most flattering, as the wide bottom will help balance out the whole look. Add heels to help elongate the legs.

Stretching your budget will be tough, so stick to shops like H&M, New Look, Forever 21 - these shops will see you get a lot more for your money and they're still great quality.
