Reading Festival, Friday 27th – Sunday 29th August
Richfield Avenue, Reading
The world’s oldest popular music Festival and one of the best, the Reading Festival is back this year with a killer line-up featuring the likes of Arcade Fire, The Libertines and Dizzee Rascal as well as classics like Guns n’ Roses.
If you’ve got tickets and haven’t thought about where to stay yet but want an alternative to camping, the Best Western Reading Moat House has standard double rooms for only £59 per night on a room only basis and is a short bus ride from the festival site.
Leeds Festival, Friday 27th August - Sunday 29th August
Bramham Park, Leeds
Sister to the renowned Reading event, Leeds Festival has pulled in an impressive line up this year, which includes Blink 182, Mystery Jets and The Maccabees. Set in the picturesque Bramham Park, the festival provides an excuse to chill out and enjoy three days of fantastic acts in a relaxing location.
If you’re looking for a good deal on somewhere to stay, try the Met Hotel. It currently has rooms from £59 per night for a standard double room on a bed and breakfast basis and is the perfect location for picking up the shuttle bus to the festival site.
Jersey Live Festival, Saturday 4th - Sunday 5th September
The Royal Jersey Showground, Trinity, Jersey
Not to be forgotten, the beautiful Jersey hosts one of the highlights of the late festival season at Jersey Live. Set in the exclusive grounds of the Royal Jersey Showground, this year’s event features some cracking acts, including Groove Armada, Calvin Harris and Kate Nash. What better excuse to get over to Jersey and explore this endearing island.
Tickets are available now and cost £84 for an adult weekend ticket and £54 for a single day pass. Kids’ tickets are reasonably priced at £10 and £5 respectively, which raises funds for charity.
Stay at the Norfolk Lodge Hotel from £87 per night for asuperior twin or double room on a bed and breakfast basis and you’ll even get a balcony and scenic view.
Bestival, Thursday 9th – Sunday 12th September
Robin Hill, Isle of Wight
Bestival is one of the last festivals of the summer and one of the most eagerly awaited amongst regular festival goers for its fun, laid back and quirky style.
With a fantasy fancy dress theme, the chance to get married in the Inflatable Church and a Pamper Lounge to nurse sore heads, Bestival caters for an eclectic mix of revellers. The line up this year includes Ellie Goulding, The Prodigy and Hot Chip to name a few.
Tickets are sold out but if you managed to bag one but haven’t sorted out where you’re staying we’ve found you a great deal. Book a standard double room at The Wellington Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis from just £110.
