The surf’s up for little thrill-seekers! Based in front of Jersey’s most consistent and famous surf break, The Watersplash, The Splash Surf Centre teaches the basics of surfing, including family surf lessons. One hour family surf lessons from £99 (up to five people).

Teamwork

Get the family together to solve clues, decipher puzzles and unlock chests in an educational experience at the Escape Tunnels, a nod to the German Occupation of Jersey in WWII.

Adrenalin-junkies of all ages will love a day at Creepy Valley. Activities include zip wires, paintball and archery, all set in a stunning natural valley in Jersey. The Merton Hotel

Based in central St. Helier, The Merton Hotel offers bars, restaurants, pools, sauna and gym. For children, there are designated play areas, a surf machine and the hotel will even help find a baby-sitter through a trusted local company. Les Ormes

Les Ormes is Jersey's only 5-star self-catering family resort. Lodges are generously spaced out in a landscaped environment each with their very own hot tub. Facilities include 9-hole golf course, two pools and indoor sports facilities. The resort offers playgrounds and kids’ clubs right on its doorstep so there’s no chance of getting bored. Rozel Camping Park

Nothing beats camping in summer and at Rozel Camping Park, you’ll also have all the creature comforts including a television room, play area for children and a heated swimming pool. By air

Fly to Jersey from numerous UK airports in around an hour, with British Airways, EasyJet and Flybe.

By sea
