Zach Oleynik was the first of two houseguests to be eliminated from Big Brother Canada this week, and Female First got the opportunity to put some questions to Captain Canada before his entry to the Jury House. Read on to find out what he had to say about his romance with Ashleigh, where his game went wrong and much more.

You've had control over a lot of this game - where do you think things started to go wrong?

Things started to go wrong after the triple eviction because I started to lose my team I had built up around me. Once I started to lose the numbers eventually I was sitting there as the biggest target in front of the whole house and if I didn't win competitions, I was up on the block and out the door.

Do you regret not talking your main alliance buddy Jordan off of the block all those weeks ago?

Absolutely I regret it. The house flipped and at the time, Jordan and I talked a lot about taking him off the block, but we had no hunch that the house was forming a flip and as much as we can regret it now, you know, there's nothing that we can do to go back in time and predict what would have happened so, yes I regret it but at the same time, you you only deal with what you were given at that time.

What do you think was your biggest and best move this season?

My biggest move was, while I was in The Chop Shop, forming the other side of the house with Kevin, Pilar and Ashleigh because, those were the people I really trusted and wanted to work with in the game, and I had to form the other side so I could kinda sneak off once The Chop Shop blew up which I knew it was gonna do. So I think that having The Diaper Alliance on the other side of the house was the best move for me?

Why did you think The Chop Shop was going to blow up?

The Chop Shop was gonna blow up because Graig was running it and he was just a very highstrung, emotional guy in the game and I knew that his type of gameplay was something I wanted to separate myself from, I didn't wanna be too close to because I knew it would bring me down with him, so I wanted to get away from that as fast as I could.

If you'd have made it to Final Two, who would you have wanted to sit next to?

I would have liked to sit beside Ashleigh. I think that me and her had a very good bond in the house. I worked with her all game, I trusted her 100% and she would've been somebody that I would've took right from when we started working right to the end and sat beside her.

If you had to vote for a winner at this stage with the remaining houseguests, who would you choose and why?

I would vote right now Sarah, because Sarah is somebody that has put together a very good game. Socially she has made moves but actually not had to do it with her hands. She has made other people do these moves by getting in there, planting little lies, turning people against each other, she's a very, very good player and, people may not realise that - I don't know what people have seen of her - but from inside the house, she can convince people and manipulate them to think whatever she wants.

We saw your friendship with Ashleigh blossom in the house, is this something you'll be pursing outside of the house?

Absolutely. Ashleigh was a girl that was very genuine, kind-hearted and somebody that I just truly do love to be around, so I will continue to keep that relationship outside of the house and just, have fun with it and not put too much pressure on it, but just go with it, go with the flow and you never know what happens...

Who would you like to see walk into the Jury House next?

Walk into the Jury House next, would be... Brittnee or Sarah, I mean those two girls have kind of flipped the house these last three weeks. They've been in power and they've kinda taken out my team, so I would love to see one of them go.

What have been some of your favourite moments in the house?

One of my favourite moments in the house was when Kev and I got called out by Big Brother for sleeping in, and we were put in french maid costumes. Even though I hated it during the time I look back on it as a very fun, lighthearted experience. You can't help but laugh.

What antics do you think you and your fellow jury members will be getting up to in Jury House?

I know that the Jury House is gonna be all speculation. Everybody will be talking about what's going on in the house because everyone is such big fans of the game. We truly do love Big Brother and that's all we can talk about when we're together, so it'll probably be everybody sitting around and just running scenarios through our heads about what's going on in the house?

Finally who do you hope to keep in contact with when the game is over?

There's a lot of people I hope to keep in contact with because the house truly was a really tight-knit group this year. There was a lot of friends I had, Jordan, Pili, Ashleigh, Kev, Naeha, you know? There was a really good group of people that I will truly be friends with for the rest of my life. I'm happy about it - it's an exciting thing to look forward to.

Big Brother Canada continues this Sunday at 7pm ET/PT on Global.
