Dolphins get 'high' in the show / Credit: BBCIn a new clip released by the BBC of their documentary Dolphins - Spy in the Pod, a group of dolphins are filmed 'getting high', as they pass around a pufferfish.
Secreting a toxin that is deadly in large doses, the pufferfish defends itself when attacked by the mammals, but the bottlenose dolphins don't seem to mind.
In fact, they purposely and recreationally use the pufferfish and its toxins, as a blissful effect overcomes them.
