A foul-tempered Connie is operating with Annalese when Paul Rose enters and Connie wants to know why he keeps popping up in Annalese's procedures and smells a rat.

Connie meets with Rose after the operation and wants to know what he is up to. Rose tells her that Annalese failed the drink test but that Ric had kept it quiet. Connie finally understands and gives her the ammunition she needs.

The vet arrives to see to Samson but it doesn't look good. Elliot dismisses him and says that he will take Samson home.

Connie heads in to see Jayne to tell her that she knows about Annalese failing the drink test. Connie informs her that this information needs to be passed on to the trust lawyers. Jayne tells the lawyers who advise her to pass all matters over to the police and the CPS who will look at charging Annalese with manslaughter.
