Though it’s the shortest month of the year, February looks to be the month that’s kicking off a whole slew of incredible entertainment on Amazon Prime Video, which has today announced some new additions to its spring line-up with a slew of Amazon Original Series.

Here are five of those shows coming to Amazon Prime Video this spring that we can’t wait to see…

5. Patriot – February 24

Patriot follows the complicated life of intelligence officer John Tavner (Australian newcomer Michael Dorman, Wonderland). His latest assignment is to prevent Iran from going nuclear, requiring him to forgo all safety nets and assume a perilous "non-official cover"—that of a mid-level employee at a Midwestern industrial piping firm. The series also stars Terry O’Quinn (Lost) as Tom Tavner, John's State Department Director of Intelligence father. The series, recently selected to have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival Berlinale on 14th February, is created and executive produced by Steve Conrad(The Secret Life of Walter Mitty).

4. Hand of God Season 2 – March 10

Created and written by Ben Watkins (Burn Notice),Hand of God stars Golden Globe winner Ron Perlman(Sons of Anarchy) as the honourable justice Pernell Harris. Once the hard-living, law-bending king of San Vicente, “Judge Maximum” has finally hit bottom. Still haunted by his son PJ, now he’s facing trial for the murder of a cop. If that wasn’t enough, Pernell’s visions have returned, further threatening his relationship with his wife. Hand of God also starsDana Delany (Body of Proof), Garret Dillahunt(Justified) and Andre Royo (The Wire).

3. American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story – April 7

American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story is a docuseries combining archival footage, interviews and cinematic re-enactments to tell the story of Playboy Magazine’s charismatic founder Hugh Hefner and his impact on global culture and history. Beginning in post-war America, American Playboy takes us through the launch of Playboy magazine in 1953, and the next six decades of Hefner’s life and career. As he built his empire, Hefner became both a social justice advocate and a target of the conservative movement, battling with the FBI and J. Edgar Hoover while becoming an outspoken defender of civil rights.

2. Fear The Walking Dead Season 2 – Date TBA

Executive produced by Dave Erickson, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert, Season one left off with Madison (Kim Dickens), Travis (Cliff Curtis) and their extended family taking temporary shelter in Strand’s (Colman Domingo) gated estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As civil unrest continues to grow and the dead take over Los Angeles, Strand prepares to escape to “Abigail,” his large yacht moored offshore.

American Gods is based on the award-winning novel by Neil Gaiman(The Sandman, Good Omens, Coraline). Starring Ricky Whittle(The 100, Austenland) as protagonist ex-con Shadow Moon, Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates of the Caribbean) as Mr. Wednesday who enlists Shadow Moon as part of his cross-country mission, and Emily Browning(Sucker Punch, Legend) as Shadow’s wife, Laura Moon,  American Gods also features Gillian Anderson(The X-Files) as Media, the mouthpiece for the New Gods. Joining Whittle, McShane, Browning and Anderson are Pablo Schreiber(13 Hours, Orange Is the New Black) as Mad Sweeney, Yetide Badaki (Aquarius,Masters of Sex) as Bilquis and a strong supporting cast including, recently announced, Kristin Chenoweth, as Easter. The drama uncovers a power struggle between the traditional gods of mythological roots from around the world and an upstart pantheon of gods whose behavior reflects society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs.
