Alan Davies Quivering Over QI

Alan Davies fears 'QI' will be axed.

The comedian is worried the BBC will cancel the TV quiz show because they have delayed commissioning a seventh series.

He said: "The BBC normally commissions it annually but next year's has not been commissioned yet so I don't know if we are going to do any more 'QI' ".

Alan's concerns come just days after the BBC announced it would screen the show's sixth season in December, three months after it usually airs.

Alan added: "We've been on in the autumn for six years and I am very sorry that this year we won't be. There was some row about the scheduling or something.

"The show has moved from BBC2 to BBC1 and my fear is that on BBC1 they would muck it about a bit and we would lose viewers and it would stop.

"Maybe we should have been like Jeremy Clarkson on 'Top Gear'. He has always adamantly refused to move it from BBC2 to BBC1."
