Billie Piper is putting her new relationship in jeopardy by constantly turning to her ex-husband for support.The former 'Dr Who' star is said to be terrified about her West End stage debut in 'Treats' - which co-stars boyfriend Laurence Fox - and calls her ex-husband, DJ Chris Evans, at all times of the day and night.A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Billie and Chris may have been apart for nearly three years but they're closer than ever."Hardly a day goes by without Billie speaking to Chris about something or other."When Billie's under stress these calls become more frequent and emotional and recently she's been under a lot of pressure."Chris was always more than just a husband, he was like a father figure, best friend and big brother rolled into one."Billie has been under immense pressure in the build-up to her play and she's been using Chris as some kind of agony uncle. She finds it easier to talk to Chris than other people - he's always willing to listen.

"However, although Chris and Billie are happy with their relationship, it is hard for their current partners to accept, Laurence in particular isn't very impressed with Chris always being around."

Last week it was claimed Billie and Laurence, 28, are engaged, and that Billie may be pregnant.

Two weeks ago the 24-year-old was seen crying on Chris' shoulder at a Starbucks café in North London.

Days later she was rushed to hospital with a mystery illness and was seen clutching her stomach - fuelling pregnancy rumours.

Billie is rumoured to be constantly unwell during rehearsals for 'Treats' and a bucket is kept in the wings for her to be sick in - though this has been blamed on nerves.

On Sunday (04.03.07) the actress appeared on BBC2 car show 'Top Gear' and her excitable state and hysterical giggling sparked further fears for her health.

A spokeswoman for Billie said: "She is very well and will be appearing in the official opening night of 'Treats' on Thursday (08.02.07).
