The Grammys may want to consider having a doctor on call for next year's awards. As I've already told you, Justin Timberlake was sick for most of the weekend. He was so ill, he actually canceled his performance at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy bash.Jamie Foxx sounded hoarse when he spoke to E!'s Ryan Seacrest on the Grammy red carpet. Seacrest commented that Foxx is probably working too much. The Oscar winner, who is currently on tour to support his Unpredictable album, said, "I've got a frog in my throat. We just hit Cleveland. We're on the road." Now comes word that Melissa Etheridge was a last-minute no-show. She was supposed to present Best Rock Album with her pal, former veep Al Gore. But just hours before the awards, Ms. Etheridge decided to stay in bed. Why? Her rep explains, "She has a really bad case of the flu."Let's just hope Etheridge is feeling better come the Oscars on Feb. 25. She's set to perform her nominated song, "I Need to Wake Up," from Gore's global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth.By Marc Malkin Courtesy E Entertainment
