Theo Walcott has dislocated his shoulder while training with England.

Theo Walcott was taken to hospital where his shoulder was put back into place.

Capello handed Walcott his first competitive start for England in September's World Cup qualifier against Andorra.

He then scored a hat-trick in Croatia and also started against Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The injury is a blow to Capello, who is already without Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Joe Cole, Ashley Cole, Emile Heskey and Joe Hart, but it is even worse news for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Walcott has been a regular for the Gunners this season and, having seen his team collect just four points from their last four league games, Wenger must do without one of his most potent attacking players.

Last season the Derby midfielder Stephen Pearson was ruled out for a month after suffering the same injury.

Even if Walcott equalled that timescale, he would miss four league games and the rest of Arsenal's Champions League group campaign.

Walcott missed the end of the 2006-07 season after undergoing surgery to repair a problem with his left shoulder, which he also injured during Arsenal's defeat by Stoke this season.
