Ahead of the Poldark finale tomorrow night, eBay UK have looked at some sales statistics to discover just how many Poldark-related items have been sold in the run-up to the final episode, and also discovered just which stars of the period drama world rank best when it comes to sales on the auction website.
Over 3,500 Poldark items including books and DVDs have been sold ahead of Sunday's big finale, but it's Game of Thrones, Lady Chatterley and Sharpe star Sean Bean who tops the sales when looking at stars of period drama on a larger scale.
Despite his good looks, brilliant acting and brooding portrayal of Ross Poldark, actor Aidan Turner comes fifth in a top ten ranking, beaten out by actors that also include Pride and Prejudice's Colin Firth 20 years after THAT famous lake scene.
