Last night saw a raucous double eviction rock the Big Brother Canada house, with Jared Kesler the first housemate sent packing.

We got the chance to put some questions to Jared ahead of his entry to Jury House all about his game, relationships and more.

Now you've had a little time to reflect on your eviction, where do you think your game went wrong?

I think it went wrong with trusting Cassandra too much. I really shouldn't have put all my eggs in one basket. I knew she could trust in me but I guess the trust wasn't there on her side of the party. I was feeling too comfortable, that really got me in some hot water.

Do you think your showmance with Kelsey is something that hindered your gameplay?

No I think it aided it. I think I got very far because I had someone that I could always trust in, but in the same token it did put a big target on my back but, I wouldn't trade all the fun times I had in the house just for a smaller target on my back.

You could have won the Power of Veto this week. Was not cutting your locks worth missing out on potentially winning $100,000?

Yeah, the question wasn't, 'cut your hair for $100,000', it was 'cut your hair for a Power of Veto', which I felt I didn't need this week because Cassandra and I had a great relationship, so I didn't think I'd find myself on the block.

You were put on the block this week by Cass after telling her in the hot tub area 'you need your beauty sleep'. Do you think your emotions got the better of you at times?

Yes definitely. My emotions definitely got the better of me, but I think for the majority of the time I kept a cool, level head. At certain situations, I think all of us have gone off the deep end and said some things maybe we didn't mean, but it's just definitely heat of the moment. At that point I knew I was going on the block and I was very hurt by Cassandra turning her back on me.

The first major twist this season was with the brothers - could the duo win the game?

Yeah definitely. They're both very intelligent and athletic young guys and they have a very good shot at winning the grand prize.

There was also the international houseguests twists with Tim and Nikki, do you think either could win if they make final two? (Jared doesn't yet know Nikki has been evicted).

I definitely think they have the opportunity to take the grand prize as well. Tim will be able to talk about his strategy a lot easier than Nikki would, but either of them definitely have a good shot of taking it home.

Who would you like to see evicted next from the house?

I would personally like to see Cassandra and Tim evicted this week because I lost a lot of faith in them unfortunately this week when I did trust them greatly. Hopefully I see one of them coming out of the house soon.

Despite being evicted you are a member of the Jury - how does that feel?

I'm really excited to be part of Jury. The Big Brother experience isn't over yet and I'm really happy to say that I get a hand in deciding who gets the grand prize. It'll be really exciting to talk openly with a lot of the other houseguests and see where their heads were at in different situations in the game.

What will you be looking for when voting for your winner of Big Brother Canada?

I think the winner deserves to be someone who's very well-rounded, not necessarily someone who's won every competition, but played a strong physical game, mental game and social game. So it's definitely who has the most of all those things that I'm gonna give the money to.

Who would you like to keep in touch with when all is said and done?

This was such a wild experience that not a lot of people get to have, so I think all of us are gonna be very close friends after this, and we're all gonna keep in contact, for sure.

Big Brother Canada continues Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on Global.
