Aloe Blacc's 'Ticking Bomb' is the song used in the latest trailer for forthcoming new series Gotham, and it sets the scene for what promises to be one of the most exciting new shows for quite some time.
Giving us glimpses of some of the most recognisable characters from the DC Universe - as well as the original Fish Mooney - each is compelling and promises to bring something new to a franchise which is precious to so many.
"This town is at a tipping point. Crime, corruption, ooze from every corner." says Ben McKenzie as Officer Jim Gordon, who we'll follow throughout his rise in the city teetering on the brink of destruction.
The pilot - written by executive producer Bruno Heller and directed/executive-produced by Emmy Award nominee Danny Cannon premieres in America on Monday, September 22 on FOX.
A UK broadcaster is still to be announced for the series.
