To raise the stakes the contestants’ old bangers have to be transformed into sleek, sexy racing machines. Each car will be taken away from their owners to undergo a real street-racing makeover by the Slips fixers Elo and T engines tuned, racing body adapted, suspension lowered, interior stripped and the whole lot made race-safe.
Elo and T are the undisputed kings of high-end modification, transforming cars for Premiership footballers and major music stars.
The cars will be modded and transformed by the UK’s leading modders and paint shops and each transformation will be captured from start to finish with highlights on the packages chosen, testing the new power output and seeing just how much oomph can be eked out of these otherwise humdrum motors.
At the end of the day it all comes down to the thrilling final race. Against the clock the two street racers will have to show their true skills. The excitement and buzz of the final race is all real as one of the racers stands to win everything, and one will be walking home.
