Aidan Turner is expecting the "knives to be out" for the second series of 'Poldark'.

The 32-year-old actor - who plays hunky Captain Ross Poldark in the BBC drama - is prepared for criticism when the next instalment airs next year.
He said: "Knives can be out for a second series, especially when we got so much support for the first series ... So next year, regardless of the quality of the show, people will tend to go, 'Let's knock you down a peg or two.'
"And that's understandable. But the scripts are strong and the performances are all there, so we have every confidence that we're going to produce something great."
The 'Hobbit' actor is also gearing up to star as Philip Lombard in an adaptation of Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None' and insists the roles are very different from each other.
He added: "I play Philip Lombard, who's a gun for hire, a mercenary ... To play a Ross Poldark kind of character and then to jump to Lombard is interesting, because they're very different people, and their moral compasses are very different."
Meanwhile, Aidan also revealed he was keen to get rid of the hairstyle that his 'Poldark' character has become synonymous with.
He told Radio Times magazine: "Yeah, I guess I was ... I want to keep that look for Ross, and doing a movie where you have long hair and you're trying to style it differently just doesn't work. Plus, you can't get away with hair like that in real life!"
