Alex Zane likes to achieve 10 things and then pretend they were his New year's resolutions.

The 34-year-old TV presenter prefers to make "post-resolutions" because then he feels a sense of accomplishment after completing them, and he makes it seem more believable by laminating his list of achievements and displaying them in his flat.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "What I do is I achieve 10 things and then write them down as a resolution. I make post-resolutions. I wait until I've done stuff and then go, 'That was a resolution.'

"I won't lie, I've not met many people who think it's a good system. Many people think it undermines the whole concept of New Year's resolutions. I stick by it and I do it properly.

"I achieve like 10 things then I write them down and then I laminate it and I put it up on my wall in my flat. Then when people come round I go, 'Check out all the resolutions.' They go, 'Wow, you've managed all of those.' Because it's laminated people believe it's real.

"You can laminate anything and people will take it far more seriously."

The former 'Balls of Steel' host insists the reason he doesn't make real New Year's resolutions is because they make him feel "inadequate" if he doesn't manage to complete them.

He added: "I don't make a lot of resolutions because if you don't complete them then you feel like you're inadequate in some way."
