The 47-year-old TV star was revealed to be Witchetty Grub on Sunday's (06.11.22) special edition of the musical game show - which saw a slew of famous faces conceal their identities with costumes inspired by 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here' - after performing M People hit 'Moving on Up' and was amazed that she managed to keep her appearance a secret but revealed that she had "almost zero oxygen" in the multi-layered outfit.

She said: "Can you believe it? You know what I'm like, I'm like the worst one at keeping a secret. But I did really well. I had to sign something and obviously, there would have been legal proceedings if I'd told anyone so that was the main reason that I didn't tell a soul. It was brilliant! Witchetty Grub chose me. They said 'You're gonna be Witchetty Grub' and I was like 'Okay, that's fine' and when I saw the costume I was like 'I'm really a Witchetty Grub!' It was one of the most challenging things I've ever had to do mainly because if you look at the costume there is a head inside another glass head so the amount of oxygen I had inside was - it was like zero! I was really struggling! So I had to play it down. Those moves you saw me doing, that's all I could do because I just wasn't physically capable to sing, be in those two heads, and dance as well so I just had to concentrate on getting the vocals out. It was so hard. One of the most challenging things I've ever had to do."

The 'Big Brother' star - who competed in the show alongside fellow former 'I'm a Celebrity' campmates such as Sinitta and Vernon Kay - went on to describe her experience on the show as the "most bizarre thing ever" because of the lengths she had to go to hide her identity while at the studio and was even called by her character name by production staff.

Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning', she said: "Ten minutes before you get to the studio, you've got to put on this outfit, a black t-shirt that says 'Don't talk to me!', you've got a balaclava, gloves, socks and you have to make sure that none of your skin is showing. Then you've got this helmet that goes over your head so that's when you go into the studio and someone is leading you round the whole time. They're calling you Witchetty Grub the whole time. I became Witchetty Grub. It was just the most bizarre thing ever!"
