Amanda Holden is tipping her children to be future 'Britain's Got Talent' winners.

The 42-year-old star has weighed into the war of words between her fellow 'BGT' judge Simon Cowell and Sir Bruce Forysth about whether kids should be allowed on the ITV show by suggesting her daughters, Lexi, seven, and 17-month-old Hollie, could triumph on the programme.

She said: "They're both really starting to show talent.

"Lexi sings, she's really good and Hollie, even though she is only 17 months, she copies. I think she could be an impressionist. They could be future winners, for sure. Watch this space."

While Amanda also joked her children need to start earning a living soon, she won't force them to become performers if their heart isn't set on life in the showbiz spotlight.

She added to the Daily Star newspaper: "I won't be pushing them into showbiz but I will be doing it secretly behind the scenes.

"Me and my husband keep saying they live with us rent-free so it's about time they went out there and earned a living."

Amanda's comments come after Bruce - who started in showbiz when he was 14 years old - clashed with Simon last month after criticising 'BGT' for allowing young contestants to compete on the show.

Simon hit back on one of the programme's live semi finals by referring to the 'Strictly Come Dancing' co-host as "Mr. Grumpy".
