The 40-year-old TV star has been married to fellow 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional James Jordan since 2003 and after they both admitted to putting on weight during the COVID-19 lockdowns, they have now been on a health kick and she has now explained that the "spark is definitely back."

She told The Sun newspaper's Fabulous magazine: "The spark is definitely back. James is proper fit, I fancy him so much. The bellies aren’t in the way any more and, naturally, because I’m fitter I feel better in myself and have more confidence. So when I put a dress on and my husband goes, ‘Oh, that’s a nice dress, I like that’, and I go, ‘Darling, I’ve had this dress for years, I just couldn’t fit in it’, of course, it makes you feel good. Then you think, ‘Oh, I’m possibly sexier in the bedroom’, so it then follows into being more confident in the bedroom. There’s lots of short bursts of energy!"

James went on to add that he can now be more physical than before with Ola and is pleased that she felt able to post an image to social media that showcased their weight gain towards the end of last year because of how many people could relate to them.

He added: "Now I can lift her and throw her about in the bedroom a bit more! People were really happy she did post the picture because they said it made her more relatable, which is true.

“There are lots of people in a very similar position. Ola said she wasn’t in a good place, wasn’t happy with where she was with her body, and unfortunately there’s so many other people out there like that.

“I’m all for body positivity, and if people are happy in their own skin and they don’t want to do anything about it, that is also fine.

“But let’s not forget there’s a lot of people in those positions that aren’t happy and want to do something about it. And they are the ones that we really want to help."
