BoJack Horseman has proved yet another hilarious original hit for streaming service Netflix.

Revealed in the video above, he'll make his return on the platform this July to tell an all-new story through a bunch of exciting new episodes.

A tease for the new season reads: "BoJack is grappling with his legacy while trudging through an increasingly turbulent Oscar campaign for his star-making turn in the Secretariat biopic.

"BoJack struggles with how he'll ultimately be remembered by his fans and what lasting impact he's made on those closest to him.

"Also, there are lots of silly puns and talking animal jokes and celebrity cameos and all the other stuff that everybody loves about BoJack Horseman. It's a very funny and good season of television. Don't worry."

Last July in our review of BoJack Horseman's second season, we said "the show has managed to mature and develop into an animated comedy that could easily compete against the Family Guys and South Parks of the world."

Catch the third season of BoJack Horseman on Netflix from July 22.
