BBC Entertainment have commissioned a brand new show for Sir Bruce Forsyth to front, titled Bruce Forsyth's Hall Of Fame.

The much-loved national icon of television announced earlier this year that he'd be stepping down from his hosting role on Strictly Come Dancing after more than a decade, and now he'll be hoping to bring Saturday night entertainment to life with some big names in the business.

Celebrating those who have inspired the careers of the celebrities, a modern twist is to be put on some of the most famous acts of all time, whilst allowing today's host of stars to pay tribute to their idols, performing as they would have done.

Taking it in turns to try and impress the audiences with show-stopping performances, it's certainly going to be a show like other.

Sir Bruce Forsyth says: “As soon as I heard about this I thought it was a wonderful idea; I can't help being excited. It will also be great to work with [executive producers] Jane again and with Jimmy.”

Jane Lush comments: “I couldn't be more excited to be working again with Sir Bruce exactly 10 years since we first embarked on the Strictly Come Dancing adventure together. And there is no one I would rather have as a co-producing partner than Jimmy Mulville and the brilliant team at Hat Trick.”

Bruce Forsyth's Hall Of Fame has not yet been set a broadcast date.
