An incredible 11-minute deleted scenes reel has been revealed ahead of the release of Game of Thrones season 6 on DVD and Blu-ray, featuring some brilliant moments from the show that fans won't yet have seen.
One particular scene that may be hitting out at critics of the show for its depiction of violence and such takes place when Arya Stark watches the play in Braavos she quickly became enthralled with. As the crowd watches on, one particular member says: "Violence and profanity. How original." Arya shoots back almost immediately: "Why don't you just leave, then?"
Other deleted scenes include an extended version of early Castle Black moments, with Jon Snow and direwolf Ghost pre-resurrection, and an exchange between Olenna Tyrell and her son Mace, where she scalds him for not realising how masterful Cersei Lannister can be with her plans.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK in Summer, 2017.
