The 35-year-old star - who is the daughter of former 'This Morning' stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan - welcomed daughter Bodhi with husband James Haskell, 37, towards the end of August and feels as if she has "hit the jackpot" with the new arrival.

She said: "I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my whole life. I don’t feel like I’m swimming through a sea of exhaustion yet, although I hear that hits in week two. I just feel like we’ve hit the jackpot. As soon as I saw her, she just looked like this beautiful, healthy baby girl, and that’s all I cared about. I get a bit emotional!"

The former 'Dancing on Ice' contestant went on to explain that she is staying with her parents at the moment and that the daytime TV legends have been enjoying "hour-long cuddles" with their new granddaughter.

She said: "Dad’s been scooping Bodhi up and taking her upstairs in the mornings to my mum so she can have an hour-long cuddle, just them two, which I think is the sweetest thing in the world. They’re really besotted and I’m so grateful we’re staying with my parents during this time, it’s just been so lovely."

Meanwhile, former rugby union player James - who tied the knot with Chloe back in 2018 - explained that he is "besotted" with the little one and wants to "protect" his daughter at all costs as he heaped praise upon his wife for dealing with childbirth.

In the joint interview, he told OK! Magazine: "I cried like a baby when she came out. Obviously, I love my wife very much but I didn’t know love like this. I just want to protect her at all costs and make sure she’s OK, and make sure Chloe’s OK, too. Chloe’s been through a pretty traumatic thing - you know, getting her body cut open - but she’s taken to it like an absolute pro, which is unbelievable really."
