The 'Coronation Street' actress has opened up on her character's tough situation after Mikey North's alter ego - who still has feelings for her - helped her after she ran away from him into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

She told RadioTimes.com: "Because Gary saved her life and told her his feelings, she doesn't know what to do for the best.

"She's caught. She says to someone, 'He's under my skin', and she would have said she'd never go back to what ended as a toxic relationship.

"But with his PTSD, and that she loved him, she doesn't want to betray him. She is very torn, especially as Adam's suspicions are growing."

Although Sarah "loves her husband" Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), she doesn't know what to do with the drama hitting a whole new level.

She added: "She loves her husband, and they married recently, but she knows he is gunning for Gary and would do anything to get him sent to prison.

"She knows if she tells him the whole truth -including Callum - it would open a whole can of worms so she doesn't know what to do. It's tough on her."

Tina recently opened up on the car stunt, and revealed she threw herself wholeheartedly into the dramatic scene - which was filmed amid social distancing measures.

She said: "I even ended with a scrape down my arm when I threw myself onto a mat, I really thought I was in some sort of action film and got carried away like a post-COVID Bond Girl!

"The stunt double guy was just insane, he threw himself off that car. They are just so hard!"
